PCF hosts a multi-day conference every summer where scholars have the opportunity to meet with working professionals from a variety of careers through workshops and one-on-one meetings at our Career Exploration Fair. This customizable program allows our scholars to choose topics that meet their personal needs. Scholars also have networking opportunities with PCF alumni and current scholars to meet and learn from other first-generation students.
PCF partners with local Bay Area businesses to host a half-day training program focused on professional development and insights into hiring practices and internship program offerings.
Both the College Services and Career Services teams support students with one-on-one advisory services to help scholars meet their academic, personal and professional goals. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know our scholars and to offer them a tailored assistance to meet them where they are at in reaching their goals.
