As Prescilla leaves Sequoia High School for UC Santa Barbara this fall, she will be missed by the soccer team, the track team, and the cross country team. She’ll be missed by the Peninsula Humane Society and the tutoring programs at both Sequoia High School and Upward Bound where she has helped many. She was also recognized for consistently
maintaining a strong GPA. One of her teachers describes her this way: “When I first met Prescilla in 2007 she was extremely shy and softspoken. I soon learned that this did not reflect her very strong spirit. Over the last two years I have really witnessed the growth of a leader in Prescilla.”
